Seth Littrell Discusses North Texas Making Historical Milestones for the Mean Green
Watch North Texas head coach Seth Littrell discuss North Texas making historical milestones for the Mean Green.
Head coach Seth Littrell and the Mean Green are off to a 2-0 start for the first time since 1994. UNT is coming off a dominant 58-16 victory over Incarnate Word. Quarterback Mason Fine has been playing lights out so far this season throwing for over 400 yards in both games. Receivers Rico Bussey Jr. and Jalen Guyton have been producing at a very high level as well. Bussey has had back to back 100 yard performances and Guyton went for 95 yards against SMU then followed up with a 111 yard performance.
If this explosive passing attack can continue to progress and put up outstanding numbers the Mean Green can have one of the best seasons in school history. For this to happen the run game needs to come along. Coach Littrell stated that in order for the run game to improve everyone needs to improve across the board. With Littrell leading the way UNT fans should be optimistic that this offense with balance out and continue to be explosive. North Texas will have their work cut out for them this Saturday with a showdown against Arkansas. With a hot start to the season the Mean Green are poised for a potential upset, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to all of North Texas with the way they’ve been playing.
