Coach Littrell discussed North Texas’ heartbreaking defeat against Louisiana Tech.

Littrell did say he is proud of the way his team fought, but is disappointed in the mental mistakes. Key fumbles causing UNT to be minus two in the turnover margin hurt the Mean Green, and was definitely a factor in the loss.

Littrell elaborated more saying the defense played solid and held their own, but small mistakes hurt them in the long run. The LA Tech defensive line played a huge factor, the Bulldogs line played with relentless effort the entire game. With the Mean Green facing UTEP next week, they’ll need to get back to playing sound football after losing their first conference game.
