Artem Lobov says he was present when Paulie Malignaggi sparred UFC superstar Conor McGregor.

Artem Lobov claims he witnessed what went down as Paulie Malignaggi took on Conor McGregor in a sparring session. Malignaggi sparred with McGregor to prepare him for a boxing match against Floyd Mayweather, nearly two years ago.

Lobov, who is a training partner of McGregor, says it went down exactly as videos have shown.

“Malignaggi got his ass whooped, and that’s it,” said Lobov. “Got dropped, his face was red; and that’s it. He offered no offense, didn’t land anything. Crap.”

As video of the sparring session went viral, Malignaggi spoke out against it and said that it didn’t show everything entirely. The leaked footage showed McGregor tagging Malignaggi, and even scoring a knockdown.

“Conor’s face didn’t lie, not a mark on him,” said Lobov. “Malignaggi’s face was all red. Was that photo shopped? What’s he gonna say now?”
