Brian Snitker Reacts to Braves Taking a 2-0 Lead vs. Dodgers & Braves Strong Bullpen Performance
Snitker on bullpen: “It was one of those days. Those guys did an unbelievable job”
The Atlanta Braves have taken a 2-0 lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS, and manager Brian Snitker spoke after the game about the win and his bullpen after having to make a pitching switch in the third inning.
“I had no intention of Ian (Anderson) going three innings. Those guys stepped up and did a great job in which they have been doing. Hats off to them. They gave us a chance to win this game.”
It was the second straight walk-off win for the Braves in the series, as Eddie Rosario hit a line drive that was tipped off of Corey Seager’s glove that gave them the victory. Snitker commented on Rosario’s knack for coming up with clutch hits.
“When we got him, guys had talked to people from Minnesota and that’s the one thing they said about him. You want him up there in big situations. He fits in here. He’s an aggressive hitter.”
