Kris Bryant Homers in Debut for Giants, Reflects on Cubs

Kris Bryant was recently traded to the San Francisco Giants after spending the last seven years with the Chicago Cubs. Bryant needed no time to adjust with his new team, hitting a home run in his first game at Oracle Park against the Houston Astros in a 5-3 win. After the game, Bryant spoke on the trade and his career in Chicago.

“I feel like they made this type of player and made me the person that I am,” says Bryant of the Cubs. “I have so much appreciation for people in that front office and organization, and in the minor leagues and all of the people who put their fingerprint on me to make me the ballplayer I am.”
