Schwarber on making playoffs with Boston: “I was spoiled in Chicago”

Kyle Schwarber, traded mid-season to the Boston Red Sox from the Washington Nationals, is in familiar territory. Schwarber made the playoffs five times with the Chicago Cubs and now has a chance to be a part of another postseason run.

“It’s great. I was spoiled when I was in Chicago, making five out of six (playoff appearances). Playing two wild-card games. Being able to win a World Series”.

“I love the playoffs,” he continued. “This is something I want to keep doing every year. I want to be known as a player that wants to go out there and win and help the team reach the playoffs and reach the ultimate goal of a World Series”.

“Just to make the playoffs, in general, is always a good thing.”
