The Utah Jazz lead by rookie star Donovan Mitchell defeated the San Antonio Spurs in a close matchup 101-99.

Donovan Mitchell lead the Jazz with 25 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals in the victory on Monday night. Jazz forward Joe Ingles scored 20 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Derrick Favors had 19 points, eight rebounds, and four blocks.

Kyle Anderson lead the Spurs in scoring with 16 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Spurs center Pau Gasol also added 15 points and 14 rebounds (12th double-double for the season) in the tough loss. The Spurs played without their all-star LaMarcus Aldridge due to soreness in his right knee.

With the victory, the Utah Jazz has now won 10 straight game in a row as the team is fighting for the eighth seed in the Western Conference.
