Gary Harris Reacts to Doubters After Denver Nuggets Series Win vs. Clippers & Lakers Series
Harris on the doubters: “We don’t listen to outside noise”
The Denver Nuggets are a very talented team. And yet, they’ve been the underdog in every playoff series.
Facing 3-1 deficits against the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Clippers in back to back series, the Nuggets aren’t worried about the outside chatter. Already entering the Western Conference Finals as heavy underdogs, Nuggets guard Gary Harris isn’t too worried about what’s being said, but more about what needs to be done.
“I don’t think we’re worried about that at all,” says Harris of the early doubt from critics. “When we were down to Utah, they thought we were done. Also against the Clippers. You know, we don’t listen to outside noise. We know what we have here. We have a very talented group. When we play together and we stick together, the sky’s the limit.”
“We’re going to enjoy this for a little bit,” continued Harris. “But now, it’s time to get ready for the Lakers and see what we can do”.
