Senior guard Grayson Allen has reached the pinnacle of college basketball success and endured the lows of the unforgiving scrutiny that all star athletes must face. From emerging as Duke’s unlikely National Champion hero as a freshman to becoming one of the most infamous villains of the college game, Allen’s career in Durham has been one helluva journey.
Saturday night, the 6-foot-5 combo guard played his final home game at Cameron Indoor Stadium in front of an adoring crowd of 9,314 Blue Devil basketball faithful. Allen scored 15 points and dished out 5 assists as No. 5 Duke beat No. 9 UNC 74-64 on Senior Night.
