LeBron James’ 37 Helps Cavs Defeat Thunder
The Cleveland Cavaliers took care of business on the road as they defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder 120-112.
LeBron James scored in bunches as he lead the team with 37 points, eight assists, and eight rebounds. Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith logged in 30 points and six rebounds, shooting six for nine from downtown.
Paul George lead the Thunder with 25 points, six assists, and four rebounds. Carmelo Anthony chipped in with 24 points and seven rebounds; Russell Westbrook had a quiet 21 points and 12 assists as he struggled shooting seven for 19 from the field.
The Cavaliers seemed to be a different team with an edge after their trade acquisitions of Jordan Clarkson, Rodney Hood, Larry Nance Jr., and George Hill.
Oklahoma City is now 32-26 and are 4-6 in their last 10 games as they are sitting fifth in the Western Conference.
The new look Cavaliers are now 2-0 since the trade deadline and their record is 34-22 for the season.
