Dwyane Wade slams home the reverse jam
Cleveland dropped their second game of the preseason 106-102 to the new look Indiana Pacers. The Cavs sit 0-2 in the preseason standings but should feel confident in their team heading into the regular season.
Offseason additions Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose and Jae Crowder stirred Cavaliers fans with their impeccable debut performances Wednesday night. While they were good in the preseason opener, they absolutely played out of their mind on Friday.
The triumvirate drained an insane 21 of the 31 shots they put up on the night for a combined for 52 points.
While the trio truly shined, one star soared above the rest. Surefire Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade accounted for 20 of their total 52 points and blew by his defender to throw down a nasty reverse dunk midway though the second quarter.
It’s true that preseason games determine little to nothing for the regular season, especially when you consider stars play limited minutes and role players dominate the shot charts. However, for a team full of fresh faces like the Cavs, it’s always nice to see teammates clicking before the real show begins.
