NBA Draft prospect LiAngelo Ball goes through Los Angeles Lakers shooting drill in front of his brother Lonzo

The middle child of the Ball family, LiAngelo Ball, got the chance to display his skills in the presence of not only the Lakers staff, but also someone on the roster he knows all to well, Lonzo Ball. Lonzo was drafted by the Lakers as the second overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft.

NBA analysts have said they would be surprised if LiAngelo gets drafted at all. Now, he is drawing interest from multiple NBA teams. 

After the work out ended, LiAngelo expressed his satisfaction with his performance. “I felt like it went good,” LiAngelo said. “… it was a good workout.” When asked about how his brother’s presence during the workout, the draft prospect said “It was good that he was here, but if he wasn’t here, I would have done the same thing.”

The founder of the Big Baller Brand (BBB) Lavar Ball is infamous for “speaking it into existence.” Lavar has said many a time that his ultimate goal is to get all three of his sons on the Lakers roster at the same time. He already has one of his sons on the team and it seems like the Lakers are interested in seeing what the former UCLA guard has to offer.

Once the 2018 NBA draft happens, then we can see if speaking it into existence is really working or just empty words.
