Thunder stars Carmelo Anthony & Paul George had their difficulties shooting the ball and their rhythm was off from start. Russell Westbrook had other ideas. Westbrook put on a scoring barrage as Oklahoma City overwhelmed the Washington Wizards 121 to 112.

It was clear that Westbrook made it a mission to set the tone against the Wizards as the Thunder did not trailed throughout the game. Despite a rough shooting night, Oklahoma City’s Paul George and Carmelo Anthony both chipped in with 18 & 13 points.

It is clear that Carmelo Anthony is still adjusting to winning even if he has a off night shooting the ball.

“I’ve got to remind myself that I am on the team and somebody else,” Anthony said after the game.

“I don’t have to go after it every night. I just take what the other team is giving us.”

Washington didn’t go down easily as Wizards guard Bradley Beal put up 41 points off of 58 percent shooting. John Wall had 21 and Markieff Morris scored 20, but the team as a whole committed 23 turnovers.

Every time Washington tried to close the gap, Russell Westbrook responded. From electrifying dunks, to being a pest on defense, Westbrook was determined to bring his team a victory while fighting for home court in the Western Conference.

Oklahoma City extends their winning streak to six.

The Washington Wizards are now 0-9 in Oklahoma City and the last time the Wizards won was when the team was based in Seattle.
