Russell Westbrook shows Thunder vet Nick Collison some love

When it comes to Oklahoma City basketball, no one gets more love than reigning MVP Russell Westbrook. While solidifying their playoff seed and Russ chasing a second straight triple-double season were the thoughts on every fans mind before tip-off, the Brodie made sure to put the spotlight on teammate and 14-year veteran Nick Collison.

The big man has played his entire career for the franchise, with his playing days dating back to the team’s former Seattle Supersonics roots. He doesn’t get many minutes these days, but he still provides veteran leadership and morale for a promising albeit inexperienced OKC crew.
