Watch as Trae Young speaks to media following dominant performance in game 1 conference finals.

In game 1 of the conference finals against Milwaukee, Trae Young put up 48 points in 116-113 win to get 1-0 lead.

“Every game brings a different challenge”, Young said on 3 point difference. “That’s all my goal is at the end of the day – try to figure out a way to help my team win.”

As the Hawks inch closer to their first NBA final since 1958, Young commented on the ceiling for the Hawks in 2021.

“I didn’t believe we had any ceiling, I think we can go as far as we want to. I don’t think there is a ceiling, unless you put the finals on it, so I believe in this team, and we believe in eachother.”

“It’s one of my favorite teams I’ve been apart of”, Young added. “This is a special group, definitely a unique group.”

In addition, Trae talked about his big 3rd quarter in game 1 to push the Hawks to victory.

“It’s a game flow”, he said. “It’s always a different guy sometimes, and tonight this is kind of how it was, and my teammates were telling me to be aggressive in the 3rd quarter and keep going.”
