Zach LaVine Reacts to Playing With Lonzo Ball & DeMar DeRozan for First Time: “It’s Been a Treat”
Lavine on Lonzo Ball: “Gets the ball out of his hands so fast. High IQ guy”
The Chicago Bulls took on the Cleveland Cavaliers to kick off the preseason and Zach Lavine reflected on his first game with Lonzo Ball and DeMar DeRozan playing alongside him.
“It felt good to go out there and play against somebody else. Work on our stuff and see how well we were fitting together. We played good. We obviously had some mistakes. But to go out there and start it off the right way and play that way and then hopefully tomorrow we get to work again.”
Lavine also spoke on his growing chemistry with Nikola Vucevic.
“Me and Vooch have the longest tenure on the team right now. It’s kind of crazy. But we played with each other at the end of last year. Us in two-man games, they don’t have to make a choice and we’re both willing passers and unselfish guys. I think for us to be in that position playing off each other is good for us.”
