Fanatics View Words: Ayesha Curry is The Twitter Clap Back Queen

There’s no question that the Warriors and Cavs series has been heated both on an off the court, but off the court, it seems like everybody has an opinion.

Ayesha Curry— lifestyle blogger, chef, mompreneur and most notably Steph Curry’s wife, hasn’t shied away from expressing her own, and lately she’s been under a lot of fire for it.

The Curry tweet tirade started after the controversial play on the June 10 game in Cleveland that saw Draymond Green and Lebron James in a struggle on the floor. James proceeded to walk over Green while he was trying to get up, and Green responded by swatting James in his groin area, which resulted in a flagrant foul and ultimately Green’s suspension for game 5.

The tension from this occurrence continued in the media, with Klay Thompson making the comment that Lebron James must have got “his feelings hurt,” from Green’s trash-talking on the court. James response to this was “it’s so hard to take the high road.”

Mama Curry wasn’t going to let James get away with this comment so soon. As a wife of the face of the Golden State Warriors franchise and an obvious fan, she had her own two cents on James’ controversial comment:

This tweet sparked outrage across Cavs nation, with several people arguing that she should stay out of it, and there was no way for her to know exactly what happened on the court.

After then tweeting that she was allowed to have an opinion, and she was finished now and going back to “cheffin,” game 5 happened.

The Cavs demolished the Warriors 112-97, and after some calls that she found questionable, she got right back into the Twitter game with this:

But Cavs fans weren’t having any of her complaining and were sure to let her know that with some controversial tweets of their own, with this being the most “savage” one after Kyrie Irving’s 41 point performance:

What do you think of Mrs. Curry’s recent Twitter activity? Do you think she has full reign to share her opinion just like anyone else? Do you think she shouldn’t get involved in what happens on the court?

The series continues Thursday night in Cleveland, we’ll be sure to keep a watchful eye on Ayesha’s Twitter feed to see what comes next!
