The ending to the Philadelphia Eagles New York Giants game was one for the books. On the leg of a rookie kicker and incredible 61-yard field goal, the Eagles managed to win the game and avoid overtime.

Of course that field goal wouldn’t have been possible without a clutch last second play by quarterback Carson Wentz and receiver Nelson Agholor.

Wentz went berserk with his teammates as the ball barely eclipsed the uprights to give the Eagles another win, but somehow the Philly QB still managed to take a major L on the night.

Just moments before kicker Jake Elliot lined up the game winner, Wentz made a bet with his teammates that he’d give the rookie his game check if made the field goal.

Funny enough, Wentz was mic’d up when he made the bet and film surfaced today which will make it hard for him to take it back.

As of now, there has been no word on whether or not Wentz has paid his debts to the game winning hero. Although it’s unclear whether Elliot will ever receive that check, he’s sure to have earned a full-time job as the Eagles kicker despite being cut by the Cincinnati Bengals in the preseason.
