Clemson WR Justyn Ross on Avoiding the “Freshman Wall” at Clemson
Clemson wide receiver Justyn Ross spoke on Avoiding the freshman wall at Clemson over their commanding win over Duke. Ross was able to take advantage of the Blue Devil secondary creating 4 catches for 76 yards with a touchdown.
In our media scrum interview, Ross emphasized on how the Clemson offense is so balanced in that any player can create plays and step up to swing the momentum in any contest. Through the first ten games of his young college career, Ross was able to haul in his 6th touchdown of the season with his mother in the stands on military appreciation night.
Ross, from Alabama, has grown up around the Auburn and Alabama rivalry and feels that their upcoming game against South Carolina carries the same type of emotion and how it may be even a better game year in and year out.
Going into next week’s game, Ross hopes to carry Clemson’s momentum against an underwhelming South Carolina team. As a freshman, Ross has seeked advice and expectation for the turnout in Death Valley on Saturday and he’s expecting it to be one of the biggest and fast-paced games of the season.
