Teammate Jason Robertson established another solid performance, scoring 2 of 4 goals for Dallas.
“He’s done a great job, he’s taken advantage of the opportunity. He’s playing great hockey. I think he fits in well with Roope [Hintz] and Pav [Pavelski], found some chemistry with those guys, and great to see.”
Benn spoke Dallas’ work on the ice to secure another hard fought victory against Florida.
“Takes a lot of hard work, takes 20 guys that are in the lineup that night. We just gotta find a way to keep going here. A lot of important hockey coming up, and gotta find ways to win these games.”
In addition, Benn touched on the Stars’ power plays in the win.
“Power plays are important this time of year. Probably not gonna get too many coming down the stretch here. Just trying to move it around and take advantage of what the other teams are giving us. Sometimes just need a little luck”, he finished.
