The Dallas Stars clinched a spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs following their 6-2 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday.

“We put in a lot of hard work.” Jamie Benn said. “We definitely deserve to be in the playoffs. It was nice to get it clinched in front of our fans.”

The Stars were led by Alexander Radulov and Tyler Seguin who recorded a combined six points between themselves.

The Dallas Stars are currently slated to face off against the Nashville Predators in the first round of the playoffs. The Stars have a 2-3 record against the Preds this season.

“We might be sitting in seventh place right now, but we’re a confident group.” said Benn. “We’re just trying to keep this roll we’ve got going right into the playoffs.”

The Stars have landed a spot in the playoffs for the first time since 2016.
