Brazil Names 2018 World Cup Roster
2018 World Cup Favourite Brazil name their final World Cup Roster before the start of the most famous international tournament.
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) have named their final world cup roster ahead of this summer’s 2018 FIFA World Cup, taking place in Russia. In arguably the biggest of the year, common favourite, Brazil, have revealed the list of players that will have the honor of wearing the famous canary yellow kits on the pitch come June. The list is as follows:
Forwards: Neymar, Roberto Firmino, Douglas Costa, Gabriel Jesus, Taison.
Midfielders: Fernandinho, Willian, Paulinho, Renato Augusto, Casemiro, Philippe Coutinho, Fred
Defenders: Fanger, Thiago Silva, Marcelo, Miranda, Marquinhos, Alex Sandro, Danilo
Goalkeepers: Alisson, Ederson, Cassio
There’s no doubt that this lineup has a great balance of skill, technical ability, tactical awareness, age and experience. However, on the world’s stage when all the bright lights surround this team, can they put aside their egos and work together in hopes of earning Brazil’s first World Cup title since 2002? We’ll have to wait and find out how they fair. Their first game is scheduled for June 17th against a skilled Swiss side.
