Gareth Bale Scores Amazing Bicycle Kick Goal
Welsh Superstar and Real Madrid winger, Gareth Bale, scores an absolutely stunning bicycle kick goal against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League Final.
With the game tied at 1-1 in the middle of the second half, Marcelo lobs in a cross from just outside the penalty area where it is met by Gareth Bale’s left boot and ends up in the back of the net. It was brilliant to see how quickly Bale was able to check up and then quickly turn his body around to make sure he has the best chance at striking the ball cleanly and hoping for the best result.
Bale could not have put the ball in a more perfect place. It was just far enough for Liverpool keeper, Loris Karius to miss out on tipping the ball away. Though this goal was the eventually game-winner, Gareth Bale would end up hit home another goal to seal the 3-1 victory for Real Madrid. The win marks their 3rd consecutive title win and give them a European-leading 13th UEFA Champions League Title.
Liverpool was limited in their fight in this game as their lost their best player, Mo Salah early on due to a shoulder complication endured at the hands of Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos, someone notorious for his cheeky play.
