Terrance Williams Makes an Impressive Catch at Dallas Cowboys Practice
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrance Williams catches 50-yard touchdown over defensive back Byron Jones.
There have been some doubts the performance of Dallas Cowboys receiving core for the upcoming season with the departure of former star wide out Dez Bryant and the retirement of former pro bowler Jason Witten. Many fans thought it was time for the Cowboys to plunge in the office season and bring in a big-name free agent, but the cowboys did not make any big splash moves with the acquisition of Tavon Austin and Michael Gallup.
The Cowboys had faith in their the people currently on their roster and the additions that they made this off season. Terrance Williams, who has been with America’s team for the last six years, is the man the cowboys have been looking at to step up.
In this practice session at The Star, Williams displayed his speed and quickness that allows him to stretch the field. Byron Jones, who is one the more elite and experienced defensive backs on the Cowboys, played good coverage, but did not have the catch up speed to make a play on the ball.
This season look for Williams number to be called because he is the best overall receiver on the Dallas Cowboys’ roster. He has always been in the shadow of Bryant, but now it his time to show Cowboys nation what he can be; he has the tools. The question is will he use them effectively?
