LSU Kicker Calls Georgia Win & Experience “Once in a Lifetime”
LSU kicker Cole Tracy speaks on the win against Georgia and atmosphere.
After defeating the No. 2 team in the nation at home in dominate fashion, Cole Tracy described the situation as “once in a lifetime.”
Tracy, who scored 18 of the Tigers’ 36 points, said once he saw the fans spilling onto the field it was “a dream come true.” So not only did the fans help one of Tracy’s dreams come to fruition, but also assist in keeping the momentum on the side of LSU.
Tracy had his best performance this season (volume wise). The LSU kicker made all of field goal attempts, going five for five and made all of his extra point attempts. He said after making the first field goal he was able to get a “rhythm”, which made him more comfortable throughout the rest of the game.
LSU needed each every field goal he made in the first three quarters or it could have been a unwanted outcome.
