Tyson Fury talks about his upcoming fight against Deontay Wilder and shares his view towards Anthony Joshua

It appears that both Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder can’t have a media session without unified world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua’s name being brought up. This is because the winner between Fury and Wilder on Dec. 1st would be the best matchup to face Joshua next.

“The winner is the man,” said Fury. “There’s no doubt about that. Him, (Joshua) that other guy from England and his promoter; I don’t want to give them any credibility in my interviews.”

Joshua and his team had turned down a guaranteed $80 million to face Wilder, as mentioned by Frank Warren, who promotes Fury. Warren has claimed that he saw the contract for himself. This could be due to the fact that Warren worked with Wilder’s management team to finalize the fight against Fury.

$50 million would have gone to Joshua for the first fight against Wilder, then another $30 million for a rematch. Wilder has referred to Joshua as a “coward.” When asked about his view towards Joshua, Fury had a stronger word, calling Joshua a “p—y.”

“They had their opportunity for $80 million dollars,” said Fury. “What kind of a fighting man turns down $80 million dollars!? If you don’t wanna fight, there you go; say no more. The two best heavyweights whose got b—s like king kong are fighting on December 1st. May the best man win.”
