Former Warrior Brandon Rush speaks on joining the BIG3 and possible NBA champion.

Brandon Rush, a former Golden State Warrior, has joined the BIG3 and was drafted by the Aliens (a new expansion team in the BIG3) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rush played for the Warriors four out the nine seasons he was in the NBA.

While he played for Golden State, they were not current hegemony they are now with the acquisition of reigning Finals MVP, Kevin Durant. Rush’s time with the Warriors included a chip in 2015 and breaking the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls’ record for the best regular-season record, as Golden State finished 73-9.

Rush said he is going to “embrace” this new chapter of his basketball career; he added it’s going to be enjoyable to play with all the “great former players and players” in the BIG3.

Being in the league nine years and playing for a championship team in the NCAA and NBA, the shooting guard does know a thing or two about what it takes to win it all. The former NBA shooting guard was not being a homer when he said the Warriors; at this point, it would be somewhat foolish to not pick them (assuming everyone is healthy).

Rush said he thought this might be the year that the Houston Rockets beat the Warriors, but they are currently being “exposed” by Golden State. When it came to who will represent the Eastern conference, he said it is between the Bucks and the Celtics because they will have a “chance” to dethrone the champs. In Rush’s opinion, the Raptors and the 76ers “don’t have enough firepower” to make it out the East. I know the fans of both of those teams whole heartily disagree.
