Eddie Hearn responds to Deontay Wilder’s Anthony Joshua Tweet
Eddie Hearn didn’t appreciate Deontay Wilder throwing shots at Anthony Joshua after his loss.
Eddie Hearn wasn’t too pleased when Deontay Wilder tweeted on Anthony Joshua’s loss against Andy Ruiz. Wilder criticized Joshua for not being a real champion, and his career being a lie.
“If you wanna kick him (Joshua) while you’re down, no problem,” said Hearn. “I’m sure there’s a lot of people that are absolutely delighted that Joshua lost tonight,”
Wilder (41-0, 40KOs), who holds the WBC heavyweight title, certainly was. “The Bronze Bomber” had made attempts to get Joshua in the ring, with no luck.
The loss ruined plans of a potential showdown against Wilder; but Hearn hopes that Wilder will get his own taste soon enough.
“Deontay Wilder has zero class,” said Hearn. “He has none from day one. And if Andy can beat Joshua in the rematch, I hope he goes on to beat Deontay Wilder as well.”
