Marcellus Wiley on AB: “I don’t think this the end of Antonio Brown. He still has some gas left in that tank”

In part four of this Fanatics View special with Marcellus Wiley, we talk about WR Antonio Brown’s future in the NFL and what he has left to offer. Wiley is confident in Brown’s ability to still be able and produce for an NFL team and believes he will be back.

“The NFL, it is a talent-driven league. Even though your issues can trump that talent at a certain point, but not with him. He still has a lot more to offer the game.”

Antonio Brown has been on a downward spiral since the start of the offseason. After being traded by the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Oakland Raiders, Brown was subsequently released by Oakland after a series of events between him and upper management, most specifically first-year GM Mike Mayock. Brown then signed with the New England Patriots on a one-year deal. After playing one game for the Pats, they too released him after rape allegations had surfaced.

“It’s surprising,” says Wiley. “A guy who’s going through this level of implosion. Not everything is grand in the issue by itself, but in collection is like ‘yo that’s too much’.”
