Dallas had a strong 2-0 start in series against Los Angeles, but suffered a 111-126 loss in game 7. Following the loss, Mavs forward Kristaps Porzingis spoke to media after a disappointing series performance.

In the interview, Porzingis spoke on the game 7 loss against Los Angeles.

“We fought as hard as we could, and sometimes shots go in and sometimes they dont. Tonight, it was one of those nights where we could have made more shots from the outside. Although, we did play pretty good basketball I feel like.”

“I haven’t really thought about that”, Porzingis told media on his future role with the franchise. “I kind of went back a little bit to my mindset in my rookie year, offensive rebounds, play hard on defense, run the court, and do all the little things that I can affect the game. That’s what I tried to do in this series. Whatever I do, seems like it’s always something. I just try to be as professional as I can”, he finished.
