Mikhail Sergachev Reflects on Being Drafted by Montreal Canadiens & Talks Stanley Cup Matchup

In the interview, Sergachev reflected on getting drafted by Montreal to trade to Tampa to play in Stanley Cup finals.
“I was dreaming of making the team, but never of going deep in stuff because I was too young. Getting drafted was pretty cool. My parents were happy, I was happy. Getting traded, obviously, it was great getting traded here.”
“I wasn’t offensive much this playoffs”, Sergachev said on series against Canadiens. “I’m trying to do different things, and be helpful.”
Sergachev also praised teammate Andrei Vasilevskiy’s peformance in the net.
“He’s just a rock back there, and gives us a lot of confidence to play with the puck and even without the puck.”
