Steph Curry spoke to media following Mavs 30 point blow-out over Golden State Warriors.

Dallas put on an offense barrage against the Warriors, including a 39 point performance by Luka Doncic.

“It’s a tough one”, Curry said on the loss. “Dropped the ball, didn’t play well, got blown out. Didn’t really have any life the first quarter. Obviously want to play better, obviously wanna be in a situation where you’re competitive and rising to the level of the competition, and we didn’t do it.”

Sitting at 31-31 in 2021, Curry spoke on putting the loss behind the Warriors and finishing the season strong.

“It’s just a matter of us trying to remember who we are, remember our identity. Not dwell on it too long, and find a way to keep our confidence and who’ve we’ve shown ourselves to be over this last little stretch.”

Dallas managed a 28-0 run in the 1st quarter against the Warriors. Curry expressed the team’s frustration giving up the 2nd-largest scoring run in last 20 seasons.

“You’re obviously are trying everything to stop it, stop the bleeding. Sometimes in games like that, not 28-0, you make turnovers that bounce the right way so they get an easy lay-up, or an offensive rebound that goes right to a 3-point shooter, or every miss communication you have, they make you pay. It’s a perfect storm of literally everything going their way whether they caused it or not.”
