Stone on draft picks: “I’m really excited about this group”

Rafael Stone is entering his second year as general manager of the Houston Rockets, but this was his first NBA draft as the head guy.

Stone has been with the organization for 15 years and played a large role under former GM Daryl Morey, so while he isn’t necessarily new to the process, he is very excited about his first group of guys who were all first-round picks. Stone sees a high ceiling in all of his prospects.

2nd – Jalen Green / NBA G League Ignite

16th – Alperen Sangun / Turkey

23rd – Usman Garuba / Spain

24th – Josh Christopher / Arizona State
