Newly aquired 2nd-basemen Rougned Odor knocked in the go-ahead run in the 10th, leading to win over Tampa.

“It’s great man, feels really good. We were playing a really good game today, the pitcher did a great job today. Amazing feeling”, he finished.

Odor spoke on bringing his energy to New York after 7 year tour with the Rangers.

“I’m just trying to be myself. I’m just trying to play the game the way I play the game all the time, and try to bring that energy that I have to the team. That’s what I did today, and it feels really good.

Odor also spoke on his approach prior to his go-ahead single in the 10th.

“Just trying to stay up the middle of the field, trying to use the big part of the field. That’s what I did. I was just trying to put the ball in play on the middle of the field and drive that run in to help the team to win.”
