Anthony Davis says Luka Doncic is Going To Be “A Great Player” & Talks Dwyane Wade Retiring
After the Pelicans shootaround before they recently took on the Dallas Mavericks, their all-star forward Anthony Davis addressed the media. Davis answered a variety of different topics including reference to Luka Doncic, Dwyane Wade and Dirk Nowitzki.
Davis started the interview by talking about the Pelicans being able to get great looks at the basketball that were just not falling. He was then asked about how E’Twaun Moore has been as a teammate since he has been a member of the Pelicans the last couple of seasons, stating: “He comes in and works and he helps us on the floor at both ends and he is a guy that we really love here. A guy that has been a lot of great players and brings leadership.”
As for Davis’ thoughts of Luka Doncic play thus far this season: “He can score the ball in a variety of ways, and he can pass. He is going to be a great player.”
Davis and Dwyane Wade exchanged jersey during their first meeting in Miami and during the interview he shared what he thought the league will miss after Wade retires at the end of the season.
