Bob Myers talks Warriors Additions of Otto Porter, Andre Iguodala & Not Bringing Back Kelly Oubre
Myers on Iguodala: “We certainly know who he is. He gives us something we need”
Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers spoke with the media and talked about the signings of Andre Iguodala, Otto Porter Jr., the departure of Kelly Oubre Jr., and more.
“We certainly know who he is. He gives us something we need,” says Myers of Iguodala. “Intellectually. Maturity. Experience. I can’t find a better guy to teach a (Jonathan) Kuminga or (Moses) Moody. Andre’s got a very bright way about him. He’s well regarded and respected throughout the league. That’s invaluable when you draft 18, 19-year-old guys to surround them with that kind of person and player.”
The Warriors are certainly familiar with Iguodala, with him being a crucial piece to their three NBA titles in the last six years, securing him a Finals MVP in 2015. Check out the video above and click below for more!
