The 2018 American Athletic Conference Championship went down to the wire Sunday. Basketball powerhouses No. 10 Cincinnati and No. 11 Wichita State lived up to the pregame hype and put in a performance for the ages.
The nationally ranked conference rivals traded blows from end to end and made more than a few highlight reel worthy plays. Ultimately, the contest came down to a final shot, but senior guard Conner Frankamp couldn’t convert.
