Dave Joerger on Luka Doncic Having A Ceiling: “I Don’t See It”

Despite the Mavs loss, Doncic had 28 points and 9 assists in the loss and played extra minutes to make up for injury-ridden Dennis Smith Jr. and J.J. Barea. After possible ties to Sacramento during the draft season, it was likely Joerger would be asked to give commentary on Doncic’s play. In response, he said, “Perhaps there was an idea that he’s got a ceiling on him but I don’t see it.”
