In 105-118 win against Milwaukee in game 1, Ayton led the way scoring 22 points and securing 19 rebounds for Phoenix.

“I’m just happy because I woke up saying this is one game closer”, Ayton told media. “I get goosebumps. Sometimes I overwhelm myself on the way to the game. I’m having a lot of fun because my guys in there, they keep my level. They keep me intent with it”, he finished.

“Them dudes is big dudes man”, Ayton said on important rebounds against Bucks. “Just try to clean up some of that stuff so we can get on a run and give ourselves some momentum as well.”

In addition, Ayton emphasized the chemistry between teammates Devin Booker and Chris Paul.

“It’s just the respect level. We all got on eachother and had candid conversations where we had to adjust. But, candid conversations lead to wins. It started to be great communication and constructive criticism and we just all take it into a positive and play it together.
