All-out brawl breaks out between refs and players at an AAU game.

An AAU game turned into complete madness in Emerson, Georgia when players and refs began exchange punches as R.A.W Athletics went against the Houston Raptors.

With less than a minute left in the game, a referee is on the hardwood and is pushed and shoved as he attempts to get up. The ref retaliates by going after one of the players, which escalates the situation. Another older referee from another court comes to calm the situation and is momentarily successful. The violence erupts again when the older referee goes after an adult with the team and the two wrestle to the floor.

Now with his shirt off, the younger ref is seen taken multiple punches from players before the older ref runs in and tackles them.

It is unclear what actually caused this to happen, but R.A.W Athletic’s head coach Howard Martin defended his players actions.

“A ref actually walked up on one of our players and attacked him,” Martin said in a tweet. “Everyone tried to break it all up, then the ref’s father (who was working a game on a different court) ran over to our court and rushed our guys … everyone in the gym, the other team and the directors saw everything.”
