Down 111-113, Mavs’ Luka Doncic hit a circus 3-pointer for the game-winner against Memphis.

“We’re happy with how we played tonight up to 1.8 seconds”, Morant told meda. “All you could do is force somebody into a tough shot, and Luka made the tough shot. No reason to have our heads down or anything on how we played tonight.”

Morant also spoke on the high-intensity and playoff atmosphere against Dallas.

“I haven’t been to playoffs before, but my teammates who have, said tonight’s game was playoff basketball. It’s good to see how we match up with teams who are currently in that playoff race.”

In addition, Morant praised his ability on defense guarding Luka.

“In the game I told him good shot, tough shot. Honestly I felt like that probably was the best defense I’ve played all year on ball. To do that against a guy like Luka is a positive for me.”
