Luka Doncic says President Obama Told Him Not to Shoot Like Jason Kidd at NBA All-Star
Luka Doncic took place in his second Rising Stars game and his first weekend as an NBA All Star in Chicago
“It was fun, you know, those games; fans want to see a lot of dunks and long 3’s, you know, fun stuff. And you know the half-court shot, you can ask Deandre Ayton, I called it during the timeout.”
The young star was also greeted by the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama. As they talked about Luka’s game and how the president is a fan.
“It was a pleasure you know; it was very nice meeting him. And I hope to hang out with him soon, it was a pleasure,” Doncic said. “He said you did a fantastic job you know, and that really inspired me, he also said, don’t shoot like J Kidd.”
Doncic is enjoying an incredible start to his young NBA career, as the youngster takes the weekend to have fun and build relationships with the top players in the league.
