As per Adrian Wojnarowski of the Vertical.com, the Mavericks have acquired Nerlens Noel from the 76ers in exchange for Andrew Bogut, Justin Anderson and a first round pick (1-18 protected)
Noel had been on the Mavs radar for quite some time and the team hopes to sign the soon to be RFA to a contract extension. In his third year the 6′ 11″ PF is averaging is averaging 8.9 PPG and 5.0 RPG in just 29 games.
In his first year with the Mavericks, Bogut was averaging 3.0 PPG, 8.3 RPG and 1.0 BLKPG while second year pro, Justin Anderson had 6.5 PPG, 0.6 APG and 2.9 RPG coming off the bench.
