LeBron James eclipses 30,000 Points
LeBron James is nearing on an accomplishment that only six NBA players in history were able to do. 30,000 points.
Entering Tuesday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs, James is only seven points from breaking 30,000. James’ run to 30,000 points has been memorable ever since he first entered the league in 2003.
Lebron James has averaged at least 25 points per game in each of the last 14 seasons; there has been no other player in NBA history has put together this longevity.
James will join elite company, as he becomes the seventh player in NBA history to reach 30,000 points and the youngest player to do so (33 years old, 24 days). James is also the fourth-fastest to hit the milestone (1,106 games).
Time will tell where LeBron James will land on the NBA’s all-time scoring list, but there is one thing certain about James. At the age of 33, he isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
