Sacramento Kings rookie Justin Jackson got taken to school by Trailblazers combo guard CJ McCollum in their Monday night matchup. A quick, well timed jab step by the microwave scorer proved to be too much for the young forward and sent him flying as his ankles gave way.
Jackson was known as a plus defender in college, but even the best of defenders get duped from time to time by the NBA’s elite ball handlers.
The Kings dropped yet another preseason game without first year standout De’Aaron Fox. Sacramento fought hard for every point yet couldn’t seem to catch a break, sputtering to a 97-83 loss on their home court.
