Richardson spoke on the impact of teammate Dorian Finney-Smith’s return to the court.

“Yeah it’s always good to have Do [Dorian Finney-Smith] back. He does the little things you know hes crashing every time, he’s giving all his energy everytime down the court, that’s all you can ask for. To have my defensive partner back out there it’s good”, he finished. 

In addition, Richardson talked about what the Mavs win means to him.

“I was pretty upset at myself because I feel like I played like a** the other day. I hold myself to high standards so I was not happy with myself and I had a rough couple days. The league is confidence and make or miss. I went out there today and I played like I would any other day, and they were dropping.”

Finishing the interview, Richardson gave his impressions on Luka’s stellar performance.

“I don’t really have anything to say about that. It was like I wasn’t even crashing anymore, it was just like when he shot it I was running back on defense. He’s special man. There’s not a lot of guys who can find that groove that he found today. Yeah, he was in the zone”, he finished.
