Baker Mayfield’s Draft Profile

Baker Mayfield made history by being the first ever college walk-on drafted number one overall when he was selected by the Cleveland Browns. Mayfield will be going to a young and talented team in Cleveland with the opportunity to learn from veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor. The Browns have weapons on offense that seem to match up with Mayfield’s strengths. Players such as Josh Gordon, Jarvis Landry and Corey Coleman can all stretch the field, and the former Heisman winner threw the deep ball very well at the college level.
