Fanatics View Draft Profile – Christian McCaffrey (RB/WR – Stanford)

McCaffrey is truly multidimensional runner who can serve as running back looking to take on several carries in a game and/or line up and catch 10-12 passes in a game. McCaffrey possess average size and power, however his speed, shiftiness, vision and allusiveness are all-pro caliber. McCaffrey’s has the ability to create yardage thanks to the way he sees the field and the play unfold. He can also act as a valuable asset in the special teams return game. He is the son of a former NFL player and just by watching him play one can tell that he has the football gene in him. Downside may be that he had a very heavy workload in his last two seasons, which means he enters with some mileage on him.
