Jake Fromm at Manning Passing Academy
Jake Fromm’s future was changed when Jacob Eason was hurt in the 2017 season opener against Appalachian State. Fromm went from backup quarterback thinking he wouldn’t play much, to now being a true freshman starting quarterback for an elite SEC team, getting ready to play at Notre Dame the next week. Fromm stepped up to the challenge in ways no one thought he would. Fromm led the Bulldogs to an SEC championship and to the College Football Playoffs. Even though the Bulldogs fell short in the Championship game, Fromm left much to look forward to in the 2018 season.
Jake Fromm was one of the many best quarterbacks in college football to attend the Manning Passing Academy at the beginning of June. Reporters caught up with Fromm and asked him how this new fame was affecting his life. Coming from a small town in Georgia, everyone now knows who Jake Fromm is. A local legend, Fromm can’t go anywhere without being approached by fans asking for pictures. Fromm loves the new attention and that so many people out there look up to him.
After a disappointing loss in the national championship game, Fromm is determined to get his team back there this season and earn the championship title. Fromm says this season may be tough to get back there again, but he is ready for the challenge.
