Jordan Ta’amu says Ole Miss Wide Receivers Are the Best in the Nation: “I Believe That In My Heart”
Ole Miss has already made a name for themselves this season after their impressive win against Texas Tech.
The offense is a key part to this success. Quarterback Jordan Ta’amu is the leader of this offense and was happy with his team after the game.
Ta’amu threw for 336 yards and two TDs. It’s easy to look good with the receivers he has though. Ole Miss has some of the best receivers in the country, including preseason All-American AJ Brow. Ta’amu says “they are the best receivers in the country, and I believe that in my heart.”
Ta’amu was happy with his running backs performance too. Scottie Phillips rushed for 204 yards and two TDs. Phillips was also named SEC offensive player of the week. Ta’amu wasn’t surprised by Phillip’s performance. Ta’amu says “I expected this from practice. He was running like that in practice and it translates to the game.”
The Rebels are hoping to continue their momentum as they face Alabama in two weeks.
